The incredibly intricate, at times exasperating, but ultimately very rewarding experience of designing and supervising the build of a semi-custom boat has taught us a lot. Spending almost ten years sailing it while living aboard was a great chance to test and refine our ideas. As a result, this time around we have a much better idea of exactly what works and what doesn't, and know exactly what we want. Lucky for us, there are infinitely more choices now than there were twenty five years ago.

We made this page in order to share with you every step of our journey as we select our future boat. Here we will discuss various options and choices in design and equipment, report from boat shows, review catamarans and everything that goes into them. We will take you through every step in designing, building and all the way up to taking the delivery.
